Investment & Costs

The total initial investment ranges from $40,000 to $80,000, which includes the franchise fee ($25K–$35K), equipment package, initial marketing fund, training costs, and working capital. This is significantly lower than most service franchises.

GroutFix charges a 7% weekly royalty on gross revenues and a 2% contribution to the national marketing fund. There is also a monthly technology fee of $150 for the CRM and operations platform.

We work with SBA lending partners who specialize in franchise financing. Many franchisees qualify for SBA 7(a) loans that can cover 70–80% of startup costs with as little as $15K–$20K liquid capital.

Based on average territory performance, most franchisees recover their initial investment within 12–18 months. With strong market execution, some franchisees have recouped investment in as little as 6 months.

Operations & Training

No experience is required. Our 2-week intensive training program teaches all technical skills from scratch. We have successfully trained franchisees from corporate, military, healthcare, and every other background imaginable.

Training covers: technical tile and grout operations, chemical applications, equipment operation, job estimating and pricing, sales scripts, CRM platform usage, business administration, and marketing execution. It is comprehensive and hands-on.

Most franchisees are booking and completing jobs within 4 weeks of signing. The 2-week training, combined with territory setup and marketing launch, puts you in market within 30 days.

You can launch as a solo operator — just you and a van. Many franchisees start solo and hire their first technician at 3–6 months when demand justifies it.

Territory & Market

Territories are defined by geography and household density, typically covering 150,000–300,000 households. Each territory is sized to support $500K–$1M+ in annual revenue as a single-van operation.

Yes. 100% exclusive. No other GroutFix franchisee can operate in your protected territory. This is contractually enforced in the franchise agreement.

Absolutely. Existing franchisees receive first right of refusal on neighboring territories as they open. Many of our most successful franchisees own 2–3 adjacent territories.

Support & Marketing

We provide done-for-you Google Ads management, local SEO optimization, social media content, direct mail templates, Nextdoor advertising setup, and referral program systems. Your national brand fund also contributes to regional and national advertising.

Our digital marketing system generates inbound leads for your territory from day one. Leads are routed directly to your CRM. We also provide scripts and tools for proactive outreach to real estate agents, property managers, and commercial clients.

You receive access to our proprietary franchise management platform which includes scheduling, job tracking, customer communications, invoicing, performance dashboards, and marketing analytics — all in one system.

Every franchisee has a dedicated territory coach who conducts weekly check-in calls, monthly P&L reviews, and quarterly growth planning sessions. You also have access to our franchisee community, annual conference, and on-call technical support.
